KPMG is currently seeking a Managing Director to join our Strategy (https://kpmg.com/us/en/capabilities-services/advisory-services/strategy.html) organization.

Responsibilities:

Serving as a key advisor, identify and direct enterprise-wide strategy projects and oversee execution of related deliverables for the Strategy Finance team with a focus on Healthcare & Life Sciences industry

Working with CFOs and the Controllership and leading teams to prepare for Day 1 and deliver value after the deal; lead transformational programs including merger integration, divestitures, finance transformation, shared services, performance improvement, process redesign, financial systems implementation, business process outsourcing, business analytics and performance management

Direct and participate in business development focusing on F&A Strategy services including curating a strong professional network, maintaining a strong market presence, identifying opportunities, proposing KPMG services, negotiating terms and closing engagements

Lead cross-functional teams in developing and implementing client services and presentation of final client deliverables

Oversee the quality of client engagements and the development of staff

Lead and participate in practice building including, but not limited to recruitment and training, thought leadership, management and mentorship of staff and/or solution development

Qualifications:

Minimum twelve years of recent external consulting experience with Finance & Accounting M&A Strategy services including diligence, post-merger integration & separation and performance improvement within a consulting advisory firm or similar corporate role

Bachelors degree from an accredited university/college; Masters degree and CPA or CA preferred

Demonstrated business development skills including fostering a strong professional network, scoping opportunities, leading pursuits and negotiating terms

Excellent consulting skills: analytical, written and verbal communication, client presence, facilitation and presentation skills and extensive experience in project management including planning, organizing, coordinating and managing staff, clients and/or partners towards the successful completion of a project

Willingness and ability to travel as needed including international travel
