BAE Systems Countermeasure and Electromagnetic Attack (CEMA) Business Area is seeking a Senior Engineering Technologist to support engineering efforts in our production environment. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for engineering for production of a complex electronic system. Day-to-Day activities will include confirming and analyzing anomalies that occur during the testing of the electronic system, making recommendations for actions to take in order to address any test failures, debugging circuit card assemblies, reviewing test reports, and working with operations engineering for process improvements. Other activities include supporting status meetings, review meetings, and customer meetings.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Bachelors Degree in related field and 2 years of experience

Associates degree in related field and 4 years of experience

High school diploma and 6 years of related experience

Proficiency in using calibrated test equipment and interpreting technical drawings

Understanding of electronics manufacturing and test methodologies

Knowledge of military and DOD standards for the fabrication and assembly of electronic and mechanical systems

Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including Technicians, Quality Control, Engineering, Drafting, and Project Managers

Excellent documentation and defect management skills

Eligible to obtain a DOD Security Clearance

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Masters Degree in related field

Experience with debugging hardware using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and digital signal analyzers

Leadership capabilities in a team environment with good written and verbal communication skills

Detail oriented person with good time management skills to be able to prioritize problems/actions in a team environment

Currently possess a DOD Security Clearance

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $83900 – $142600

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
