Position Description:
Radiance Technologies, a rapidly growing employee-owned company, is searching for a talented ASIC EDA Toolchain Administrator to join the Microelectronic Technology Operation (MTO) on a temporary-on-call basis.

The ASIC EDA Toolchain Administrator will serve as a subject-matter expert on administering and optimizing ASIC design tools (e.g. Cadence). Activities will include items such as installing PDKs, creating startup scripts, creating SKILL scripts and PCells, etc.

Work Location, Travel, Hours, and Benefits:
Hours: Tasking may vary over time, but is anticipated to range from 5 – 15 hours in a typical per week. As a temporary-on-call position, this role by definition will be < 1000 hrs / yr.

Benefits: This position is not eligible for benefits or 401k/ESOP contributions.

Location: Remote work is acceptable, so long as candidate is willing to visit Radiance HQ as needed to accomplish tasks (on the order of once per month)

Travel: No travel is anticipated

Required Qualifications:
US citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance
5 years administering Cadence ASIC toolchains
Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills
RHEL administration

Desired Qualifications:
Verifiable track record resolving EDA toolchain issues and establishing smooth workflows for the ASIC design team
Familiarity with Siemens toolchain (e.g. Calibre)
