Diesel Technician/Ag Shop mechanic
Total Seed Production is looking for a qualified Diesel Technician/Ag Shop mechanic.
The qualified candidate must have:

– Strong mechanical ability
– Basic knowledge and understanding of repairing or replacing all structural, body, and mechanic parts of a heavy-duty diesel truck.
– Must be proficient with brakes, drivelines, and mechanical engine components on heavy-duty diesel trucks.
– Experience working on farm machinery/equipment and/or Semi Tractor/Trailers
– 12-volt electrical diagnostic/repair; DOT inspections
– Hydraulic system diagnostic/repair
– Basic computer and record-keeping skills are needed.

Other skills preferred but not required:

– Experience with GPS installation/operations
– Welding/repairing of farm machinery
– Ability to operate farm/seed equipment
– Heavy equipment operator.

Standard work hours are 7:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday thru Friday but must be willing and able to work long hours and weekends during peak seasons. Having a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently as well as part of the team is a must!
