WEST BEND at our FROEDTERT WEST BEND HOSPITAL facility. Experience as an
MRI Technologist preferred, but not required This job is ON-SITE. This
position is eligible for a $5,000.00 Sign-On Shift: Shift 4Every other
weekend (Sat/Sun) at Froedtert West Bend Hospital. Varied 2nd shift
hours during the week between Menomonee Falls and West Bend. This
position is eligible for a $5,000.00 Sign-On Job Summary: Performs MRI
studies under the direction of a radiologist and oversight of a senior
MRI Technologist. This individual interacts with imaging staff, nursing,
physicians, patients and visitors. Acts as a resource person for MRI
technical, and other issues, and demonstrates competence according to
specific guidelines and prescribed protocols. Operates MRI and related
equipment, prepares scan room – equipment, supplies and medications.
This individual also maintains images and archives associated with
patient data. Other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: Experience
as an MRI Technologist preferred, but not required One to three years of
experience is preferred. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Graduate of an JCERT
approved two-year or four-year radiologic technology, nuclear medicine
program, or MRI program is required. Two or four year college degree in
radiologic technology, healthcare, business or other related degree is
preferred. TRAINING DESCRIPTION: Successful completion of a
cross-sectional anatomy class is required. SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:
Ability and demonstrated competence in IV insertion and contrast
injection; ability to assimilate new procedures into work routine is
required. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: ARRT registered is required. Advanced
certification through ARRT in ARRT-MR is required within 18 months of
hire. BCLS certified within 90 days of hire date. State of WI license in
Radiologic Technology if incumbent performs CT, general radiography or
any other imaging using ionizing radiation; if practice is limited to
MRI and/or Ultrasound, no state license is required. Perks & Benefits at
