Mechanical Drafter

Job Summary:

The Mechanical Drafter will be responsible for creating detailed mechanical drawings and designs for our fitness equipment. This role involves working closely with engineers and other team members to ensure accurate and efficient design documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings using CAD software.

Collaborate with engineers to design and optimize mechanical components and assemblies.

Create and update technical documentation, including BOMs (Bill of Materials) and assembly instructions.

Conduct design reviews and provide feedback to ensure design accuracy and manufacturability.

Perform tolerance analysis and ensure designs meet industry standards and company specifications.

Assist in the prototyping and testing of new designs.

Support the manufacturing team with technical drawings and design modifications.

Participate in project meetings and contribute to design discussions.

Qualifications:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.

Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).

Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Experience with fitness equipment or similar products is a plus
