Wound Care Nurse

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Stoughton Health has an excellent opportunity for a
Registered Nurse in Wound Care to join our Physician Clinics team on a
Partial Part-Time basis. The Wound Care Nurse provides acute and
rehabilitative care for select patients with wound care needs. The
components of this position include direct patient care and
consultation, patient/family education and counseling, staff
development, research, and management activities. The Wound Care RN will
work with the supervising physician or Advanced Practice Provider (APP)
to develop and implement a plan of care for wound patients. Essential
Functions: Ability to perform essential functions of a Registered Nurse
including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, and evaluation
Effectively enhances the quality and effectiveness of nursing practices
Maintains knowledge and competency that reflects current nursing
practices Interacts with and contributes to the professional development
of peers and colleagues Collaborates with patient, family, and others in
the conduct of nursing practice Integrates research findings into
clinical practice Position Requirements: Required: Associates Degree
from an accredited school of registered nursing. Graduate of an
accredited Wound Certified Nursing Education Program. Preferred:
Bachelors Degree in Nursing Currently licensed by the Board of
Licensing and Regulation in the State of Wisconsin as a Registered Nurse
in good standing Required Certification: Current BLS certification at
hire. Board certification in Wound Care Nursing. Computer Competency:
Basic Computer Skills are expected for this position. Access email,
reference internal websites, access electronic health records, and use
online learning tools to remain current with continuing education
requirements. Microsoft Office Suite Skills: Beginning Skills Able to
perform basic things such as opening a document, change font, save a
document, write a letter. Work Shift: Full-Time, .25 FTE 10 hours per
week Scheduled Days: Monday (if Monday lands on a Holiday the shift
would be analternate day) Scheduled Shift: Variable, 7:00 a.m. -5:00

OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Qualifications include:
Associates Degree in Nursing and currently licensed as a Registered
Nurse in good standing in the State of WI. Prefer someone with a
Bachelors Degree in Nursing. Requires one year relevant nursing
experience or supervisory recommendation. Must have current BLS
certification on hire, ACLS certification within 90 days of hire, PALS
certification within 6 months. Non-violent crisis intervention
