The Doe Run Company is currently seeking a Warehouse Clerk to provide material from stock warehouse to customers in an accurate and timely manner. This position is located at our Sweetwater Mine in Ellington, MO.
Education and Experience:
– High School Diploma or equivalent.
– Minimum 4 months of manufacturing or related experience.
– General warehousing experience preferred.
– Valid drivers license.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
– Basic skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
– Proficient customer service and people skills.
– Excellent verbal communication skills.
– Ability to work independently.
Job Responsibilities:
– Receive, put away, and issue stock and materials.
– Perform data entry and document processing.
– Maintain the warehouse in a clean and orderly manner.
– Perform and maintain cycle count program.
– Coordinate with the Purchasing Department to order materials for customers.
– Deliver parts and materials between operating locations.
– Complete tasks in a safe and environmentally compliant manner by following EHS (environmental, health and safety) policies, procedures and best practices; support and assist peers in working in a safe, compliant manner; report unsafe acts or conditions, incidents, and deviations; and provide feedback to support continuous improvement in EHS performance.
– Other duties as assigned.
Environmental Conditions, Physical and Lifting Requirements:
– Regularly: computer/tablet, personnel carriers; Frequently phone/radio; Rarely: personnel carriers, loading/hauling equipment.
– Underground SEMO Clerks regularly required to work underground. All Clerks exposed to work near working mechanical parts, vibration; Rarely exposed to wet, humid conditions (non-weather), Outdoor weather conditions, work in confined spaces; Exposed to moderate noise. Regularly required to wear company provided PPE including but not limited to: a respirator (BRRD), ear protection, eye protection, foot protection.
– Regularly required to walk, reach with hands/arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, use repetitive wrist and finger movement; Frequently required to sit, talk, hear, grasp, push, stand; Rarely drive, climb or balance; requires clarity of vision at more than 20 feet and less than 20 inches, precise hand-eye coordination, ability to identify and distinguish colors, identify and distinguish colors.
– Regularly required to lift up to 25 pounds; Frequently required to lift 26 to 50 pounds, Occasionally required to lift 51 and 75 pounds, rarely required to lift 75 to 100 pounds.
