Hire Type:Full Time
Pay:Range beginning at $45,000/yr, adjusted based on qualifications
Work Schedule:Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm. Some weekends and evenings will be
required to support events.

Job Summary
Oversees the daily operations of one or more student involvement events
or programs.
Job Duties
The Assistant Director of Student Activities is responsible for
organizing programs and initiatives for students. You will partner
alongside various student groups to continue the growth and development
of strategies and assessment planning, budget preparation, and
involvement in campus life. If this sounds like a position that is of

Required Education and Experience:
– Bachelors degree in higher education administration, counseling or
related field
– Three (3) years of experience in student program development or
related field, with one (1) year of experience in a supervisory role
Required License/Certifications/Training:
None
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
– Knowledge of developing, implementing and assessing programs
– Familiar with developing and support a event planning organization
and/or program board, advising Student Activities Council and
working in large-scale campus-wide programming
– Solid understanding of managing budgets
– Ability to develop and track student learning outcomes
– Valid Drivers License to operate state vehicles
Physical Requirements:
Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment including but
not limited to phone, printers, copiers, and calculators. Ability to
communicate with others and accurately exchange information. Ability to
remain in a stationary position. Ability to move, transport, and/or
deliver items, supplies, or equipment. Ability to move or traverse
across campus, within buildings and offices, and/or across external
environments.
Additional Physical Requirement:
Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to
20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force to
constantly move objects., ,
