About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager of Ad Tech Business Development to lead our partnership initiatives within the Yahoo DSP Business Development team. This role is pivotal in driving Yahoos growth within the ad tech space across Programmatic Media, Commerce Media and Advanced TV. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the ad tech industry, including domain expertise in audience and measurement data products.

Key Responsibilities:

– Strategic Partnership Development: Identify, develop, and nurture strategic partnerships within the ad tech ecosystem, including technology providers, data partners, and media platforms. Act as the primary point of contact for partners, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
– Consultative Sales and Partnership Support: Work closely with the Sales team to provide strategic guidance on monetization opportunities with Partners to achieve client objectives.
– Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with Legal, Privacy, Finance, Product, Marketing, and DSP Strategy teams to drive contract negotiations and align partnership strategies with product development.
– Emerging technologies Business Development: Experience with Advanced Analytics, CTV, Addressable TV, Gaming, generative AI or other emerging channels in digital media. Understanding of how to balance long and short term product goals with proven experience selecting and managing partnerships that offer both scale and/or differentiation
– Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification: Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify emerging trends, technologies, and partnership opportunities. Stay abreast of industry developments to ensure our offerings remain competitive and innovative.
– Revenue Generation: Drive partnership growth by developing and executing effective partnership strategies, leveraging your expertise to articulate the value proposition of Yahoo DSP to potential and established partners.
– Networking: Actively participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to continue to establish a strong presence for Yahoo DSP.

Qualifications:

– 7 years of experience in business development within the ad tech industry, with a proven track record of driving growth and establishing strategic partnerships.
– Deep understanding of the ad tech landscape, including programmatic media, audience and measurement data products.
– Experience with TV buyers and/or CTV media execution (preferred)
– Experience supporting sales in client facing roles and proven track record of knowing how to prioritize between short and long term goals to support the product roadmap
– Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable business plans.
– Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at the executive level.

The compensation for this position ranges from $122,250.00 – $255,000.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
