A Brothers Keeper is dedicated to enhancing our community through environmental stewardship and public service. We are seeking motivated individuals to join our Road/Litter Crew to help maintain the beauty and cleanliness of our roads and public spaces.

Position Overview:
As a Road/Litter Crew Member, you will play a vital role in promoting the cleanliness and safety of our community. This position involves performing physical tasks outdoors, working as part of a team, and adhering to safety guidelines to guarantee environmental stewardship.

Key Responsibilities:

– Perform ongoing litter and debris from designated roadways and public areas to ensure a clean, sanitized environment, with an amazing appearance.
– Bend, lift, and walk for extended periods to confirm clean grounds.
– Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve daily goals within established timelines across assigned geographic areas.
– Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment, specifically in outdoor environments and along traffic routes.
– Operate assigned equipment such as trash grabbers, bags, and safety equipment/gear safely.
– Maintain reliable communication with supervisors and team members.
– Attend training sessions and meetings to learnmore about safety procedures and job related updates.
– Work in various weather conditions that include extreme heat, cold, and heavy precipitation.
– Remain positive and professional while representing the organization to the public.

Qualifications:

– Must be willing to learn.
– Ability to perform physical tasks, including bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods.
– Strong teamwork and communication skills.
– Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
– Basic knowledge of safety procedures and the ability to follow guidelines.
– Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
– Be available Monday to Friday and some weekends for an 8-hour shift beginning at 6:45 AM.
– Those with a disability, felony/criminal record, and other with barriers to employmentare encouragedto applyfor this position.
