Process Engineer III

OVERVIEW
Merrick & Company is seeking an experienced Process Engineer with oil
refining, gas processing, ammonia, or chemical plant experience to join
our growing Energy, Manufacturing & Bioprocessing Team at our Tulsa, OK
or Greenwood Village, CO offices.
The Process Engineer will work on a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and
designers, managing and executing all aspects of process design on multiple
client projects.
Typical annual pay range for this position is $99,400.00 –
$125,700.00. Pay offered may vary depending on job related knowledge,
skills, and experience.
WHAT YOULL DO
Analyze equipment specifications and performance requirements to determine
appropriate designs.
Prepare process design deliverables including:
Process Flow Diagrams
Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams
Orifice and equipment sizing calculations
Process line sizing calculations
Equipment and Instrument datasheets
Execute vendor coordination for selection of instrumentation and equipment.
Perform process tasks autonomously (e.g. calculations, report writing,
options study).
Review and check the work of other process engineers to determine accuracy and
completeness.
Coordination of design inputs and design activities with other engineering
disciplines in a team environment.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in chemical engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
Minimum of eight (8) years of related experience and/or training.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Must have a valid drivers license, a good driving record, and be
insurable under Merricks insurance carrier.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with Aspen Hysys, AspenPlus, AFT Arrow and Fathom, MathCAD,
AutoCAD.
Professional Engineering (PE) License.
