Plumbing Foreman I- Commercial

Duties and Responsibilities:

– Assigning and supervising plumbing personnel engaged in installing,
repairing, and maintaining various plumbing systems.
– Overseeing and inspecting the installation and repair of plumbing
equipment, fixtures, and apparatus, such as pipes, sinks, traps,
valves, faucets, vents, and pumps.
– Estimating labor and material costs for jobs, maintaining records,
and requisitioning necessary materials and supplies.
– Planning and organizing work based on oral and written instructions.
– Conducting regular inspections of ongoing work and completed
projects, and occasionally participating in more complex plumbing
tasks.
– Collaborating with the Project Manager on proposed plumbing projects
and offering recommendations.
– Recruiting and training plumbing trade personnel.
– Be able to read submittal data and RFIs.
– Provide the project manager with information to write RFI when
needed.
– Keep and update redline drawings.
– Establishing safety and work performance standards for subordinates
in accordance with Javits Center policies and procedures.
– Other tasks and duties as assigned.

Location / Travel

– Travel to job sites across the Greater Phoenix Area.
