Qualifications and Knowledge skills:

Minimum Bachelors degree in relevant scientific, computer, or engineering program with at least 6-8 years experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Demonstrated strong understanding of Quality and Compliance and principles of cGMPs and Data Integrity.

Proficient knowledge of the Empower CDS

Strong knowledge and understanding of analytical techniques including separations, compendial based assays, and/or bioanalytical based methods.

Basic knowledge of databases and/or Microsoft Office Applications (Access, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Word) and/or other relevant software programs, preferred.

Interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills are essential. Must contribute to a team based, collaborative and positive environment, clarity of purpose and high commitment to business goals.

Demonstrated problem solving ability, attention to detail, and analytical thinking skills.

Ability to take initiative and prioritize objectives from multiple projects; adhere to scheduled timelines while maintaining flexibility, independently or as part of a team.

Ability to receive and act on assignments that do have a clearly defined process.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Must be flexible to adjust workload to adapt to changing business needs.

This role is a support role for the Devens site and on-site presence will be critical for success in this role in building strong relationships with QC, on-site presence to be able to quickly respond to and perform troubleshooting or support for the QC laboratories.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Accountable for Empower master data management (Empower Reports, Custom Fields, Instrument methods, and Processing Method/Sample Set Method default templates)

On-site troubleshooting and communicating method related challenges to appropriate teams

Ensuring successful audits and Health Authority inspections at the Devens site by serving back a back room/front room SME

Partnering with QC labs to support method-related investigations

Supporting book of work activities prioritized by the Devens Site (Devens site chartered project support to deliver continuous improvement or cost savings

This position will report to the Scientific Director of Separation & Compendial Sciences
