Job Description PT 22.5 9a-5p
Facilitates the registration of Outpatient Physical Therapy Patients. Interviews patient and/or representatives to obtain identifying information and other data required for registration.
Job Responsibility
1.Receives in-coming telephone calls promptly and professionally.
2.Maintains constant awareness of patient arrival.
3.Monitors prescriptions for expiration.
4.Accepts payment from patient as appropriate.
5.Maintains the patients privacy and abides to our regulatory agencies.
6.Orders Lab and Rad tests in the appropriate systems.
7.Ensures we have appropriate authorizations before patient has scheduled tests.
8.Sends reports to appropriate physicians.
9.Performs related duties, as required.
ADA Essential Functions
Job Qualification
High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
Previous registration or billing experience.
Knowledge of insurance regulations
System knowledge, including HIS, Insurance Eligibility, Micro Soft, Omni and HDX
Communication Skills

The salary range for this position is $24.29-$25.14/hour
