Value Analysis Coordinator- Full Time/ Days

Job Summary

​Supports tasks related to the integration of clinical projects involving supply analysis reviews relative to Value Analysis /Clinical Use Evaluation (CUE) requests. Assists in system targets for expense reduction and works with clinicians to assist with Value Analysis projects to demonstrate cost reduction and improved patient outcomes. Manages, in conjunction with the Director, Clinical Integration, the Value Analysis Database and provides overviews and education on the tool to users. Coordinates clinical trials for Value Analysis requests and clinical integration initiatives. Works with members of the Value Analysis committees to ensure follow up on metrics is completed with tracking and reporting and monitors financial look-backs to demonstrate projected versus actual. Acts as the lead mentor for new hires ensuring the job roles and responsibilities are met.

Job Duties

Assists with the preparation of reports, facts, including data collection.

Collects the information needed to analyze Value Analysis opportunities.

Participates in the implementation of projects and provides support to the Director, Clinical Integration, based on Ad hoc projects being handled through the Value Analysis process.

Responsible for approved product conversion processes to ensure system item builds for Value Analysis submissions are completed.

Provides webinars/education to users of the Value Analysis tool to ensure requests are completed accurately.

Performs “look backs” on clinical items to measure target vs actual.

Responsible for all Value Analysis meeting scheduling and follow up materials and distribution of same.

Coordinates, monitors, and documents all clinical trials pertaining to Value Analysis requests.

Interacts as necessary with vendor reps.

Maintains Value Analysis membership roosters and audits bi-annually for edits.
