Shift: 7p-7:30a/ 11p-7:30a/ 3p-11:30p; Rotating Weekends & Holidays

Primary Patient Population:
Trauma
Primary skills utilized/learned:
Vital Signs, cardiac monitoring, trauma care
Complex wound care & psychosocial care
Answering call lights and assisting patients as needed
Time management, critical thinking
Personnel RN will work with :
LPNs, Registered Nurses, Nurse Interns, Providers, PT/OT, WOCN, Social Work
Number of beds on unit:
34 beds (14 private rooms, 10 semi-private rooms)

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or passage of a high school equivalency exam.
Ability to work in a team environment while demonstrating good judgment, flexibility, initiative, and effectively problem-solving skills.
Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Registered in good standing as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) with the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) Nurse Aide Registry (NOTE: Maintaining ODH Registry status as a STNA is optional after employment in this position).
1 year of experience as a Patient Care Nurse Assistant in a hospital.
