The Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism seeks an energetic, creative, and experienced part-time Academic Program Assistant to support the school’s investigative reporting program on a range of projects. She/he/they will be critical to the program’s success, engaging in project planning and execution, helping to apply for grants, and handling office administration. It’s a fun and dynamic job, with different and exciting projects constantly popping up.
Primary Responsibilities:
Coordinate events such as conferences and trainings
Conduct research for grants, projects, events, and classes
Assist with grant requests and administration
Track budgets
Take on projects big and small
Manage websites
Interact with contractors, grantors, guests, students, and the public

Additional Information:
This is a part-time (50%), hourly staff position.
The hourly pay range for this position is $24.00-$26.00. Minimum Education: Bachelors degree. Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education. Minimum Experience: 0-6 months Minimum Field of Expertise: Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills for interacting with both domestic and international stakeholders. Demonstrated attention to detail. Proven ability to plan, implement, and coordinate program logistics. Demonstrated database/data entry experience. Proven project management and problem solving skills, able to handle multiple timelines, changing priorities, and fluctuating workloads.
