Gathers data and documents test results. 

Reviews test results to ensure compliance with standards; reports any quality anomalies.

Complies with all pertinent regulatory agency requirements.

Participates in required training activities.

Maintains laboratory supplies.

Completes test records and reviews data.

Calibrates or verifies calibration of instruments/devices prior to use.

Interacts with outside customers or functional peer groups.

May assist in validation of methods.

Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.

Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivated, adaptability, and a positive attitude.

Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or other science-related degree concentration

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in bioassay laboratory

Experience in running bioassays preferred (skills including working with 96 well-plates, serial dilutions, and working small volumes with multi-channel pipette)

Assays included: ELISA, immunoassay, in vivo potency

Experience with mammalian tissue culture and aseptic technique is highly desired

Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills

Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivated, adaptability, and a positive attitude

Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

The Hiring Process: 

10-15 Minute Phone Interview with Recruiter

60 Minute Virtual Interview with Manager

30 Minute interview with Site Director

The position is full-time, with various shift opportunities, with overtime as needed.  Candidates living within a commutable distance of Rensselaer, NY are encouraged to apply.

Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Tuesday – Saturday.

Base compensation is $21.50 – $28 per hour based on experience.

An additional shift differential at a flat rate of $50 is provided for Saturday shifts.
