JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Requirements:
Experience: You have prior experience as an Installer/Heavy Equipment Operator or have worked in a closely related field. Possession of a CDL is also desirable but not required.
JOB DUTIES:
Work with the team: You stay in contact with your supervisor and your team to make sure the work orders are completed efficiently – everyone pitches in because it’s ultimately about serving the customer.
Develop your expertise: You install and repair septic systems, knowing that you’re ultimately helping people live comfortable and safer lives. Over time, you gain a growing expertise at diagnosing problems and understanding how to repair or replace them. You respond to emergencies with safety as your top priority.
Become a trusted professional: You keep your tools neat, clean, and well-maintained so they’re handy and ready for use and safe. You’ll learn to prepare written materials (e.g. scope of work, work orders, bids, equipment inventory, etc.) because you know that this keeps everyone informed – from the customer to the team back at the office.
On Call: Once you’ve completed your initial Miller’s training, you will be required to participate in our “on-call” rotation every 6-8 weeks. Your on-call period lasts for 7 days and you will receive compensation in addition to your regular hourly wage.
You’re ready to work: You have a clean driving record, a ready-to-work attitude, can pass a background check, you have no problem handling the physical demands of the job and you understand that we are a septic company, so rolling up your sleeves and getting a little dirty is no problem for you.
Successful completion of a pre-employment background and substance screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) search as well continued verifications throughout employment to ensure that all records meet company policy standards.
