In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

Enhancing Compliance and Quality : By conducting thorough internal audits (QMS, manufacturing process, and product audits), you’ll ensure adherence to ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards, driving continuous improvement and compliance.

Training and Development : Leading training sessions and one-on-one coaching on AIAG Core Tools (FMEA, APQP, MSA, SPC, PPAP) will empower team members with essential quality management skills, fostering a culture of quality and excellence.

Root Cause Analysis and Resolution : Your expertise in root cause analysis (3P5Y) and corrective actions will help identify and resolve non-conformances, minimizing recurrence and enhancing process reliability.

Technical Expertise : Demonstrating a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, risk analysis, and control plans will ensure robust process audits and effective risk management, contributing to product quality and safety.

Leadership in Quality Councils : Assisting in PQC (Product Quality Council) meetings and management reviews will facilitate strategic decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives, aligning quality objectives with business goals.

Documentation and Knowledge Management : Maintaining and updating the Quality Manual, documented procedures, and audit records will ensure that the organization stays current with internal and external requirements, supporting compliance and operational efficiency.

Audit Program Management : Owning and maintaining the audit plan/schedule and producing comprehensive audit reports will provide valuable insights into the organization’s quality performance, driving accountability and improvement.

Stakeholder Collaboration : Engaging with external auditors, certification bodies, and internal stakeholders to provide necessary information and support will enhance the organization’s reputation and ensure successful audit outcomes.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

Associate degree or equivalent business experience. IATF 16949 ISO 9001 Internal Auditor Trained. Six Sigma Green Belt trained and willing to work towards certification. AIAG core tools (APQP, PPAP, SPC, FMEA, and MSA) trained

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Demonstrated ability to perform process based and risk-based audits.

Initiated, approved and monitored corrective actions associated with audit findings.

Planned, performed and led different QMS audits based upon IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.

Performed training on AIAG core tools (APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC and FMEA)

Performed Product Audits per applicable CSRs

Led 3P-5Whys root cause analysis

Provided support to documentation on the key processes per business quality manual

When conducted mfg. process audits, demonstrated in-depth understanding of processes and associated risk analyses (FMEA and control plan)

Exhibited good understanding of QMS tools such as QSi, CQMS etc.

When needed performed CQMS admin training.

QUALIFICATIONS

Additional Information:

VDA experience preferred but not required

ASQ certifications preferred but not required

Proficient in Power BI preferred but not required
