Job Description:

At Regions, the Consumer Home Equity Lending Specialist works within the Home Loan Direct group to help guide customers through the HELOAN/HELOC application process while delivering exceptional customer service.

Primary Responsibilities

Communicates with customers that have submitted home equity applications online, ensuring all required documentation is collected and the customer understands the application process

Coordinates with loan fulfillment teams to ensure applications are complete and able to be decisioned in a timely manner

Provides excellent customer service and answers customer questions within set standards

Schedules loan closings with appropriate branch locations or determines alternative closing options

Utilizes inbound/outbound telephone techniques to solidify and build customer relationships

Follows through on customer inquiries, requests, or complaints

Presents customers with advice, guidance, and education on the full range of bank products and services Regions offers

This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

This position is incentive eligible.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED

One (1) year of experience in customer service/sales

Skills and Competencies

Ability to manage a high volume of outbound phone calls

Ability to work as a team and with internal and external customers

Efficient time management and organizational skills

Excellent verbal communication skills

Proficient computer skills

Preferred: Strong knowledge and experience originating HELOCs, HELOANS or mortgages.

The compensation for this position includes a base salary of $20.44/hourly plus commissions for an anticipated earnings potential of $42,515 – 65,000.

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

Incentive Pay Plans:

This role is eligible to participate in a commission incentive plan. Employees have the potential to earn commission based on performance against defined metrics and goals.
