Distribution Coordinator

Description:

The Distribution Coordinator ensures that orders being sent out of the distribution center meet and/or exceed customer expectations by making sure orders are shipped properly by LTLs and are packed according to customers demands. This position prepares, analyzes, and communicates reports; orders carriers for less than truckload (LTL), and fulfills administrative duties required by the Warehouse Manager.

Essential Functions:

Ensures proper procedures are met per customer shipping specifications prior to shipping.

Processes paperwork (bill of ladings) for shipments at both facilities.

Works directly with leaders in various departments to ensure shipments are processed accurately and sets up for proper delivery means.

Communicates with LTL carriers to ensure there is enough room on the truck for Amneal product.

Maintains and supports general logistics issues by either email or phone with carriers for delivery and/or pickup.

Performs, analyzes and communicates all reports weekly/monthly/yearly.
