BENEFITS: YES
PAY: $34-38 an hour depending on experience
SCHEDULE/ENVIRONMENT: On-site, up to 75% Travel. Paid for overtime, travel, and reimbursed for travel expenses. Travel is usually 3 days at a time but could go up to 2 weeks (not very common). In total, 2-3 weeks out of the month of travel. Travelling throughout the U.S. and sometimes to Mexico and Canada.
Description:
Installs new or modified equipment at customers facility to ensure full functionality
Reviews performance reports and documentation from customers and field representatives
Inspects malfunctioning or damaged product to determine nature and scope of problem.
Determine source of problem, and recommends repair and replacement
Coordinates problem resolution with engineering
Review machine designs and engineering drawings
Provides on-site technical assistance to help troubleshoot and repair equipment.
Analyzes reports of technical problems to determine trends affecting future design, production, service, and processes
Develops service handbooks and bulletins based on engineering changes
Provides a communication link between the customer and the company to help ensure that effective service is provided
MUST HAVES:
5 years plus of previous field service experience
Mechanically inclined
Ability to read blueprints
NICE TO HAVES:
Associates or Bachelors in Engineering
Electrical and Mechanical experience
Conveyer experience
Hydraulics
