Patient Transportation Dispatcher SJMC

What You Will Do
Performs data entry and processes patient transport dispatches via the Tele-Tracking System.
Adjust assignments of patient transport duties when needed
Fields calls to transport office for patient transport status changes
Performs daily report per shift with transport team of duties and assignments
Performs transport new hire training.
Communicates with other departments to assess their transport needs
Must be orientated to physical layout of hospital and locations of patient testing areas.
Acts as provisional supervisor when supervisor/manager is not on duty.
Provides training and education to new users of Transport Teletracking System.
Additional Responsibilities
Performs other duties as assigned.
Complies with all policies and standards.

Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
