Job Description Summary:

This position is a multifaceted project management and creative role responsible for developing and executing projects that convey the visual identity of the company across various touchpoints. The role spearheads the creative vision for key initiatives and includes crafting marketing materials, invitations, signage, and giveaways to drive engagement. This individual also elevates internal and event marketing communications by creating eye-catching visuals and providing design guidance for newsletters, emails, presentations, and more. Additionally, they manage photography and video production, editing content for internal initiatives and potentially photographing/filming/editing live events. Beyond visuals, they maintain and update SharePoint, Connect, and Teams sites, ensuring user-friendliness and brand consistency. They may also provide support for Business Operations processes as requested.

Job Qualifications (Minimum):

Education : Associate degree or equivalent related work experience in graphic design or business operation.

Travel : Up to 10% of travel required

Experience : Eight or more years’ experience in graphic design, video or other creative design role.

Five or more years managing multiple deadlines and priorities and working with a diverse group of people/positions.

Master in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)

Able to leverage other programs like Canva, Cvent, PoliteMail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Grasp business strategies across various levels (corporate, divisional, functional).

Communicate clearly and compellingly, both verbally and in writing.

Manage projects effectively, meeting deadlines and juggling priorities.

Demonstrate exceptional organization, planning, and decision-making.

Maintain meticulous attention to detail with high accuracy.

Represent the company professionally, upholding brand image.

Employ sound judgment, addressing issues or escalating as needed.

Prioritize effectively, managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Lead complex projects from start to finish.

Communicate complex information clearly and concisely for internal audiences.

Ability to work with cross-functional teams including project managers, design colleagues, information technologists, Meeting and Event planners, Finance and content experts. Collaborate effectively and accept direction.

Works cooperatively with others to be an integral member of a team and solves conflicting perspectives collaboratively.

Network and collaborate effectively with internal and external professionals.

Work independently with minimal supervision.

Essential Duties and responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and execute an overall creative project plan for each project, considering scope, timeline, and resources.

Provide regular updates on all aspects of assigned projects while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Work independently under moderate guidance to solve moderately complex creative challenges. This includes following established procedures, maintaining project documentation, and exercising sound judgment in decision-making.

Manage the overall creative project plan, providing high-level support and creative direction for internal and external projects.

Customer-Focused Marketing Materials:

Champion a “customer-centric” approach for all client-facing marketing materials.

Partner with marketing to develop engaging digital campaigns and visuals (themes, graphics) for major events and trade shows.

Collaborate creatively, proposing innovative design solutions that align with campaign goals (increased engagement, sales, etc.).

Lead Creative for Key FCC Initiatives:

Spearhead the creative direction for key FCC initiates (Colloquium, Kickoff, awards, internal initiatives).

This includes designing marketing materials (invitations, signage, giveaways) to boost attendee engagement.

Collaborate with marketing, communications, HR, and event managers to ensure a cohesive experience.

Manage and source external vendors for signage printing and production.

Enhance Communication Through Design:

Create visually appealing content (newsletters, emails, presentations, social media graphics, etc.)

Offer strategic design advice to improve internal and external communications.

The goal is to foster clarity, impact, and a positive experience for both employees and customers.

Video Editing and Production:

Manage photography and video production/editing.

Edit videos for various purposes (Town Halls, webinars, special projects).

Be available for real-time filming and editing if necessary.

Maintain Digital Platforms and Brand Consistency:

Implement design and layout improvements on FCC and Business Unit employee-facing platforms (SharePoint, Connect, Teams).

Ensure user-friendliness and brand consistency of website content (text & images).

Business Operations Support:

Provide support for key business operations processes as needed.

Examples include managing FCC distribution lists and assisting with divisional business continuity/incident management.

Handle confidential parent company, divisional and business unit information.

Tool or Vendor management to include working with Sourcing on negotiating and contracting and managing yearly upkeep including Risk Assessments.

Works effectively with Executive leadership and management team across FCC through phone, e-mail, and other technologies to coordinate communications efforts across geographies.

Maintains relationships with other divisions, Global Business Service and Global Branding and Communications.

Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Flexible in working extra and non-traditional hours to accommodate the demands of the position. This includes working extra hours as needed without much notice, and daily access to phone or e-mail during “off” hours and days.

Ability to carry up to 35 pounds.
