SCHEDULE

FTE: 0.9, various shifts are between the hours of 7 am – 5 pm. Weekend and holiday rotation. On call rotation. PRIMARY FUNCTIONS Responsible for directing the daily operation of the Pharmacy, and ensuring compliance with patient care quality standards as they relate to the care provided to all age groups of patients. Interprets medication orders, prepares and dispenses prescribed medications and other pharmaceuticals for patient care. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education, Experience, and Training

Must be a graduate from an accredited schoolof Pharmacyand be currently licensed to practice as a Pharmacist in Iowa.

Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy.

Must maintain education requirements for Hospital Diabetic Certification.

Previous experience in a Pharmacy setting preferred.

Education in all ages ranging from newborn to the geriatric population preferred.

Ability to learn and navigate computer systems including the online training modules, the employee timesheet and the performance appraisal system. Job specific systems are also required.

Must have strong communication skills, both written and oral.

Must be able to read, speak, and write fluent English.
