Job Title: Chemical Technician
Job Description
Monitors inventory levels and schedules work orders effectively, utilizing the ERP system. Effectively utilize ERP system to create work orders, transfer material and decrement from the system. Changes and dispenses materials for production, as necessary. Participates in customer and regulatory audits, such as OSHA and EPA audits. Maintains accurate and detailed product, process, instrument, and training records. Follows the current processes for manufacturing, storage, and transportation of chemicals. Handles regulated waste. Gathers, interprets, and analyzes scale readouts and scripts. Will be required to troubleshoot issues with quality and delivery as they arise. Creates materials to internal specifications in a timely manner and delivers throughout IDT. Adheres to current waste disposal (RCRA) and hazardous material DOT regulations and follows hazardous material spill response protocols. Participates in receiving, downloading, and uploading from tanker trucks into IDTs bulk tanks. Participates in the Hazardous Material Spill Response Team. Will be trained in other chemistry instrumentation such as HPLC, GC, etc.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 9 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Coralville, Iowa.
Work Environment
Sunday – Wednesday 8pm – 6:30am $26.27/hr, Friday – Sunday 6am – 6:30pm $28.19/hr. Will be working with 4-6 others on each shift. This is a very teamwork heavy role
