Description:

A local client is seeking three experienced Test Engineer II’s to join their team as they transition towards greater automation in their testing processes. This role involves close collaboration with the development team and requires strong communication skills. The current toolset includes Playwright and Apache JMeter, but experience with Selenium is also valuable.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform manual and automated testing of front-end, API, and back-end components delivered in AWS.

Develop and execute test artifacts such as test cases, test plans, defects, test reports, and test metrics in Jira with Xray.

Conduct mobile testing for native iOS and Android applications, with a preference for mobile test automation.

Collaborate with the development team in an Agile environment, familiar with Scrum, Kanban, and Jira.

Support device or hardware testing and internal solution buildouts, especially when working from home.

Required Skills:

6-8 years of experience in software testing with intermediate coding skills related to automation (Playwright & Apache JMeter).

Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC processes (ISTQB certification preferred).

At least 3 years of experience in test automation using Java, JavaScript, and Python.

Experience in creating, managing, and executing test artifacts in Jira with Xray.

Healthcare industry experience is preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Experience with JCL, VSAM, DB2, File-Aid, Expeditor, Endevor, CA-7, PANAPT, $AVRS, SAR, DFSORT, Changeman, SPUFI, ControlM, Abend-Aid, Eclipse, GIT, Bitbucket, IBM WebSphere Server, Aha, Dumpmaster.

Experience in the DevOps space is a plus but not required.

Proficiency with office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.

Work Environment:

The team consists of 8 Test Engineers and 2 SDETs, working alongside the development team.

Core hours are 8:00-5:00pm CST.

Preference for candidates in Sioux Falls, with office presence required on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Remote candidates may need to come onsite quarterly.
