The Sr. Gas Processing/Hydrogen Process Engineer will support the development, innovation, commercialization, and project execution of the technology. This role will continue to develop and improve design practices, tools, and infrastructure for Gas Processing and Hydrogen technologies to ensure the technology is competitively positioned in the marketplace.

The Sr. Process Engineer will support technology and process specialists by helping to develop the technical bench strength across the technology family to ensure that there is sufficient global experience to meet the expected project load. The role will be expected to support Gas Processing and Hydrogen technology efforts. Process alignment within the Gas Processing and Hydrogen portfolio is intended to be determined based on candidates experience and as demand might dictate.

LOCATION: This role is located in Rosemont, IL (Chicago Area) or Houston, TX.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Senior Level Engineering position providing guidance and information to lower level engineers.

• Lead efforts to resolve technology issues, drive technology innovation, and support technology commercialization to improve our portfolio and offerings

• Support, develop, and improve technology specific tools and infrastructure

• Engineering support of sales support and proposals

• Development, design, and support of process simulation and Schedule A projects

• Mentoring lesser experienced engineers

YOU MUST HAVE:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics

• 4 years of relevant process and/or process design engineering experience in the Oil and Gas or Petrochemical Industries

• 4 Years process simulation experience using Unisim and/or Aspen

• 2 years’ experience developing Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Process and Instrument Diagrams (P&IDs)

WE VALUE:

• Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering

• Experience developing Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, support tool infrastructure and development.

• Ability to analyze and solve complex and challenging problems.

• Extensive experience using Process Simulation Software such as Unisim, Aspen.

• Experience leading a technology area.

• Experience in Gas Processing and Hydrogen technologies (i.e. Amine Guard, MolSiv, SeparSIV, Selexol, Benefield, NGL Recovery, Separex, MemGuard)
