The Data Analyst Lead is a key player in the Zebra Global Trade Compliance program, developing practical, analytical solutions to support and enhance Zebra’s import and export compliance operations across all global business units.

Primary responsibilities include providing automation and key analytics on global trade related issues impacting both compliance and operations, including but not limited to classification management of Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCN), Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) and Schedule B, metrics, duty minimization strategies, development and implementation of Oracle ERP data and supporting cross-functional operations.

Responsibilities:

Systems and Trade Data Management

Develop and implement automation tools such as RPA for compliance monitoring and reporting to streamline trade compliance processes through the Oracle Global Trade Management (GTM) systems, Oracle ERP, Microsoft Suite, Microsoft SharePoint systems and third-party compliance software

Develop, implement and maintain Global Trade Compliance Power Platform Products (Power BI, and PowerApps) to facilitate and provide visibility into day-to-day GTC responsibilities; Provides Power Platform training to users and maintains and updates SQL Server database for Power Platform tools

Assist with system testing, enhancements and updates of Trade Compliance GTM software to ensure effective and compliant operations

Lead and support cross-functional projects aimed at improving trade compliance processes, ensuring that deadlines are met, and objectives are achieved

Policies, Procedures and Processes (Creation and Implementation)

Collect, analyze and interpret large datasets related to trade compliance activities, including Country of Origin (COO), denied party screening, duty drawback, Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ), tariff classification and sanctions

Create Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and scorecards to evaluate broker performance, monitor monthly transaction volumes and assess overall GTC efficiency

Support the GTC team by providing data insights to identify potential compliance risks

Assist with various day-to-day compliance issues and support with various projects, including CTPAT, Reconciliation, Recordkeeping, Risk Assessments/ Audits and Transactional Screening

Regulatory Updates and Guidance to Various Internal and External Stakeholders

Assist with the monitoring of changes in global trade regulations and implementing countermeasures that mitigate potential impacts to business operations

Maintains general knowledge of Customs and export compliance concepts, rules and regulations

Facilitates departmental training on global trade-related systems

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Information Technology or related field

2 years of experience using computer systems, applications and collaborating with IT for deployment of analytical tools

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint Design and Authoring Proficiency in automation tools (RPA), including API’s,

Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Power Platform: PowerBI, Microsoft Automate/Flow,and Power apps Proficiency in Oracle Cloud Reporting

Preferred Qualifications

Master Degree

Bilingual in Spanish

Salary: USD 58500.00 – USD 87700.00 Yearly

Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
