Pay: $20 – $28
Shift: 6AM – 2:30PM (OT available)

Job Description:
Receiving and unloading materials: Check packing slip for PO#, count, and MTR’s; unload truck, note shipping damage; sign packing slip.
Checking packing slips against POs: Pull open PO, mark received on PO, assemble and prepare for inspection.
Inspecting material: Use PO to inspect material, verify Heat# matches MTR, check dimensions for thickness, length, and width, check material markings, mark acceptable material with ID#.
Completing Receiving Log: Use verified information to complete log, check MTR for correct information to Code, sign & date MTR, make copies for Accounts Payable/Purchasing, scan and file documents.
Reporting material discrepancies to Plant Job Manager, Quality Control Manager, and Purchasing Manager.
Participating with Purchasing Manager and Accounting in reviewing and score carding key material suppliers.
Assisting Controller in taking physical inventory of stock material.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with materials
Experience with forklift and various material handling equipment
Ability to manage multiple projects, tasks, and directives simultaneously
Knowledge of material specification numbers for various materials
Accurate material measurement skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, & Drawing View
Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision
Commitment to process improvement
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Decatur, Illinois.
Work Environment
4 buildings on a 6-acre site with 50,000 square feet of production floor space. Largest products are 100 feet and weigh over 60 tons. 1st shift: 6am-2:30pm.
