The Target Pay Range for this position is $23.27-$27.35/ hourly. At Antech, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and budget.
Job Purpose/Overview
The Diagnostic Sales Associate (DSA) focuses on Business Development by generating leads for the Diagnostic Sales Managers (DSM), and through promotion of Antech’s products and services. The through the development of strong customer relationships. The DSA works closely with Field Marketing to execute marketing programs and add value to clients by promoting useful services. The DSA performs sales calls to resolve client issues, close deals and generate revenue.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Daily outbound calling to prospects on target account list to identify customer needs and schedule meetings for Diagnostic Sales Managers on the account team
Update and maintain client records.
Work prospects through the sales process in a systematized, timely matter to support customer needs.
Work closely with sales and marketing management to identify new account or product placement opportunities.
Follow up on all incoming sales and marketing leads in an extreamly expedited manner (less than 24 hours) and qualify each prospect accurately, logging all activities and notes in the Salesforce CRM
Engage with the account by sharing appropriate product information and tracking progress of all leads.
Identify and generate new client relationships through outbound calls and researching
Handle orders, support questions, and other inquiries as needed
Set up new accounts and understands the Antech sales process steps
Ability to hit lead and sales goals accurately and honestly
Communicates and collaborates across the sales and marketing team, including all sales roles, customer success, and customer support with a focus on team selling and winning
Conduct customer research and qualifies accounts prior the AM’s first in-person visit
Contact customers to confirm research findings and gain additional information
May be asked to participate in enterprise initiatives, special projects, and other duties as assigned.

Navigates through ambiguous situations in a manner consistent with the Five Principles of Mars and uncompromising integrity.
Education and Experience
Bachelors degree in Business or relevant field, or equivalent on-the-job experience.
1 years previous sales experience with a background in telephone, retail sales or customer service preferred
Preference for veterinary industry and/or diagnostics experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Team player with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Highly focused with a strong desire to “hunt” and close new business
Strong phone sales skills, understanding of the sales process, and the ability to make high volume outbound calls to build a prospective client list Drive to achieve goals/targets
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Travel
Occasional Travel may be required, up to 20% of the time.
Working Conditions
The associate is regularly required to apply manual dexterity, including hand/wrist flexibility, for computer keyboarding. The associate frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The associate is frequently required to hear and speak in order to use the telephone, make presentations and communicate with people in an office or virtual environment. The associate is occasionally required to sit and stoop, bend, kneel, or crouch. The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
The associate will primarily work in a typical office environment or a remote home office. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The associate will be required to use a computer, spreadsheets, data base management, email, video conferencing and the Internet. The associate is frequently required to use a calculator; fax, copy machine, and phone system. The associate must occasionally use media equipment such as an overhead projector, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams. Environment where pets are present.
