Forklift/Lab Tech/General Laborer

Spherion is hiring for Lab Technician/ Forklift / General Laborer in Monongahela, PA!

The Lab Technician/ Forklift / General Laborer is a direct hire opportunity. The ideal candidate would need to be available to start ASAP.

Responsibilities for the Lab Technician/ Forklift / General Laborer include but are not limited to:

– Work on the assembly line to assemble products according to specifications.
– Collect stone samples (non hazardous) and analyze them through our laboratory (simple but need to be detailed)
– Keep organized track of samples and test results through spreadsheets in Excel.
– Operate within a warehouse or manufacturing facility setting to ensure smooth production processes.
– Utilize mechanical knowledge to assist in various tasks within the factory.
– Safely operate forklifts and other equipment as needed.
– Use hand tools fabricate components or assist in assembly.
– Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times to maintain a secure work environment.
– Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the work area.
– Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets efficiently.

Experience:

– Prior experience in an assembly line or manufacturing environment is preferred.
– Familiarity with using hand tools and forklifts is advantageous.
– Ability to fabricate components or assist in mechanical tasks is a plus.
– Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations within a factory setting is beneficial.

Monday through Friday – 1st shift
