This director position is responsible for managing business operations and resources of a given project portfolio which can be defined by industry, service line, technology center, specialty area or region. Responsibilities include people management, project oversight, and sales enablement. Accountable for fulfilling business goals, meeting budgets, maintaining project/portfolio profitability while ensuring quality of project delivery and maintaining customer referenceability.Develops strategy and plans to successfully implement operational policies and achieve portfolio performance in support of strategic objectives. Responsible for solutions and pricing of proposals and supporting the sales process. Is accountable for managing a significant and profitable revenue stream. Typically manages multiple project/program managers and/or senior level individual contributors. May serve as advisor or project sponsor role for moderately complex engagements.10 years of experience relevant to this position, including 2 years of project or direct line management experience. Demonstrated ability to follow solid project management principles and successfully manage projects of increasing complexity. Comfortable working in a matrix management environment. Strong influencing and negotiation skills to deal with internal stakeholders, customers and vendors. Product, technology or industry expertise relevant to the portfolio focus. Selling skills preferred. Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities
Oracle is seeking to hire former manager or executive level individuals with direct DHS experience. Individual may be a former government employee or may have supported DHS from the private sector. Individual should also have a strong business and IT industry background. It is preferred that the applicant hold an active TS/SCI clearance with poly. Individuals initial focus will center on developing and winning business opportunities, followed with project leadership through the delivery period. Relevant practical P&L experience in the IT vender community is highly desirable. Individuals with prior experience at the Department level and supporting the Management Directorate, the S&T /directorate, the CIO, and the CFO will be looked upon favorably. A record of proven business outcomes is required.
Must possess or have the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI eligibility with poly required.

US: Hiring Range: from $106,100 to $223,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
