The Flex Senior Manager, Premium Brand Social Marketing plays a key role in creating the strategy, establishing key performance indicators, and

executing social media and content marketing initiatives for Marriott Premium Brands, specifically Marriott, Sheraton, and Delta Hotels brands. The

role will be a core member of the Content Marketing and Brand marketing teams driving strategy and execution for social media and content tactics

to deliver against brand and content goals. In addition to other duties assigned, this role will work with Brand, Portfolio and Loyalty teams to manage

the strategy and execution of the comprehensive brand content ecosystem consisting of brand social media channels, influencer programs,

dedicated brand websites, and other Marriott digital touchpoints. This role will also collaborate on the strategy and execution of evergreen paid social

in partnership with the Paid Social team – including social content publishing. This role will need to be an innovator – supporting the brand’s

overarching strategies (e.g.., engagement, awareness, etc.) on key platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube and more. This

individual should have a strong background in social channel and content strategy, with an interest in emerging platforms, innovative executions and

have a passion for brand. This role will report to the Sr. Director, Premium & Select Social Marketing and partners closely with key members of brand

marketing teams, Marriott’s creative agency, public relations, digital product, external agencies, key hotel stakeholders, and the field/continental

organizations. The role will manage agency teams directly as necessary.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience Required

• 4-year degree from an accredited university in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or related major.

• 6 years of social media marketing, digital marketing, or content marketing experience, demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern

of exceptional performance.

• Demonstrated experience managing and defining social strategies.

• Demonstrated experience with social Media marketing, monitoring, management, content, and advertising.

• Demonstrated experience with paid social/digital marketing and advertising execution.

• Demonstrated experience with social media influencer programs.

• Solid understanding of social marketing trends and industry best practices.

• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

Education and Experience Preferred

• Demonstrated experience with developing, launching, managing website and mobile projects

• Embodies a strategic and forward-thinking mindset, proactively connecting emerging social media trends with current brand strategies and

tactics.

• Enthusiastic self-starter and creative thinker who can champion ideas from ideation to execution

• Demonstrated experience and success in a highly matrixed cross functional organization.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Content Strategy and Execution

• Crafts strategy and prioritizes, manages, supports, and executes social and content marketing initiatives (social media, influencers, paid media,

brand website initiatives) to support the assigned brands.

• Executes social strategy to support brand campaigns, initiatives, and partnerships along with evergreen proof points through social media

campaigns and content.

• Supports strategy and approvals of editorial calendar for all paid and organic content to be published on social brand channels (Facebook,

Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, etc.), including content series/franchise creation.

• Supports and leads the development of program social strategy documents (e.g., content and social strategy, influencer strategy, community,

social tone/voice/design) where needed

• Develops content and distribution strategy and oversees agency execution ranging from on-site content production, real-time distribution, live

events, and beyond.

• Partners with other Social and Content Marketing team members to ensure content calendar is calibrated to maximize the collective reach and

impact of the company’s social marketing.

• Drives social innovation and special projects workstreams

Consult and Partner with stakeholder to provide expertise

• Works with internal and agency teams to develop creative and content for evergreen initiatives, large program campaigns and partner

messaging.

• Contracts production and agency teams as necessary and usher through Marriott Contract approval processes.

• Manages social approach to crisis comms at brand level, act as Social Subject Matter Expert for highly confidential and sensitive crisis comms.

• Liaises with other internal social media teams to collaborate on best practices and customer care integration.

• Work with media teams and creative agencies to traffic and activate paid social evergreen campaigns, including creation of briefs, routing

assets for approvals, asset delivery and management of deadlines with cross-functional teams

• Liaises with internal and external PR teams to ensure tight integration and holistic campaigns.

• Creates streamlined information for internal reports/audits/analysis of social marketing performance and creates compelling marketing and

reporting presentations.

• Handles additional projects / functions as assigned

• Assists senior associates in achieving business results by:

o Identifying opportunities to enhance process

o Providing training and guidance to field

o Participating in annual planning sessions

o Achieving results within scope of responsibility

The hourly pay range for this position is $53.46 to $71.83.
