Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented System Administrator to join our team in Hanover, MD. In this role, you will provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems and manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems. Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems. Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems. Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.] Optimize system operations and resource utilization and perform system capacity analysis and planning. Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications, and software integration. Configure and manage AWS cloud environments.Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university. Five (5) years of additional related experience may be substituted for a degree. Eight (8) years of related experience. Experience with planning and leading Cloud Systems Administration efforts. Experience working on a cross functional teamPreferred Qualifications: Experience troubleshooting Windows and Linux Desktop and Server issues in a cloud environment. Experience developing architectural/design documents and use cases. Working knowledge of AWS, Docker, Git CI/CD Experience utilizing CloudWatch to identify performance issues with systems. Experience using configuration management tools to manage and maintain a large number of AWS EC2 instances and user workspaces Experience with vulnerability mitigation and patch management for Linux and Windows environment. Understanding and reviewing security vulnerability scan results.
