Multimedia Content Specialist

In this role, you will be responsible for developing engaging multimedia content, with a strong emphasis on video and new media formats, to support marketing campaigns and product onboarding. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling assets that drive growth, support customer education, and elevate the Pearson brand.

Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the Colorado, California, Washington State, New York State and New York City laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:

Minimum full-time salary range is between $80,000 to $90,000

Key Responsibilities:

Video Production: Create high-quality marketing and product onboarding videos, from concept development to final production. This includes scripting, storyboarding, shooting, editing, and final delivery.

Graphic Design: Design visually appealing graphics for campaigns, marketing materials, social media, and product-related content, ensuring a consistent and professional visual identity.

Multimedia Campaign Assets: Develop a variety of multimedia content (videos, animations, infographics, interactive media) to support full lifecycle marketing campaigns (acquisition, expansion, retention).

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to understand content needs and produce materials that enhance customer engagement and drive key business outcomes.

Creative Strategy: Contribute to the creative vision of marketing campaigns by developing innovative multimedia content that aligns with campaign objectives and resonates with target audiences.

Onboarding Content: Design and produce product onboarding videos and tutorials that simplify complex ideas, ensuring customers can easily adopt and use Pearson’s solutions.

New Media Formats: Experiment with and implement emerging media formats, such as interactive video, AR/VR content, or short-form content, to stay ahead of trends and deliver engaging experiences.

Brand Consistency: Ensure all multimedia content adheres to Pearson’s brand guidelines, maintaining a cohesive and professional visual identity across platforms.

Content Performance Analysis: Track and evaluate the performance of multimedia assets, providing insights to improve future content and enhance customer engagement.

Customer-Centric Content: Focus on creating content that supports both acquisition and retention strategies, ensuring a seamless customer journey from awareness through loyalty.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in media production, marketing, communications, or a related field are desired

3 years of experience in multimedia content creation, with a focus on video production, graphic design, and new media formats

Expertise in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, After Effects) and graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva)

Familiarity with AI tools for content creation and editing, such as AI-driven video generators, automated video editing platforms, or AI-based image and sound enhancement tools

Proven ability to conceptualize and execute engaging video and multimedia content across various platforms and stages of the customer journey

Strong understanding of content marketing and its role in acquisition, expansion, and retention

Excellent storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail and design

Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge of current trends in multimedia formats and platforms, including short-form content, interactive media, and AR/VR

Experience with content performance analytics tools to optimize and iterate based on performance

Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities
