Cyber Security Engineer, Senior

ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Cyber Security Engineer, Senior to join our team in the Springfield, VA. area.Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Design, implement and maintain complex systems and infrastructure that support business objectives Develop and maintain system architecture and design documentation Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our systems and infrastructure meet security, scalability, and performance requirements Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, including performance and availability problems Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and migrations Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures Develop and implement system monitoring and alerting strategies Mentor and train junior team members Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trendsMinimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or technical field 5 years of experience in systems engineering DoD 8570 certification IAT Level II required Strong understanding of system architecture and design principles Strong experience in Network engineering (TCP/IP, LAN and WAN). Experience with VMWare infrastructure. vCenter and ESXi configuration and maintenance. Experience with Vulnerability management such as scanning, vulnerability reviews, and mitigation. Experience with cloud infrastructure and services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform Familiarity with Elastic to include Logstash and Kibana concepts Strong experience with Linux and/or Windows operating systems Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Strong problem-solving and analytical skillsSecurity Clearance Requirements: TS/SCI w/PolyPhysical Requirements: Capable of travel to customer sites (CONUS and OCONUS) Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
