This individual will have a strong interest in rapid technology development in support of military operations and combatting terrorism.The Expeditionary Force Protection Program Analyst will provide Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) support to government leaders. Support includes coordinating research and development projects, end-user requirements, and reviewing technical proposals. This position will be working in the area of Expeditionary Force Protection for an organization that rapidly identifies and develops capabilities to combat terrorism for the Department of Defense and the other Government organizations. The Expeditionary Force Protection team primarily focuses on Subterranean Warfare; Blast Effects and Mitigation; Screening, Observation, Detection, and Protection; and Maritime Security.Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide technical advice and assistance on assigned R&D project portfolio. Ensure successful execution and delivery of multiple research and development projects. Develop procurement packages resulting from Broad Agency Announcements and other vendor solicitations including Statements of Work, Technical Evaluations, Independent Cost Estimates, Contract Data Requirements Lists, etc. Facilitate and manage an R&D portfolio at a programmatic level, in close coordination with a Government Program Manager. Support operational planning, testing, system fielding, and sustainment efforts. 25% Travel (CONUS and OCONUS)Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors Degree and at least 5 years’ experience with Military or other Government agencies with screening, observation, detection, or protection technologies in facilities, infrastructure, maritime, or subterranean domains At least 5 years’ experience in Project Management, preferably with government research and development projects.Preferred Qualifications: At least 2 years of experience with government contracts and acquisition Familiarity with government operational end users in Special Operations and non-DoD agencies. Basic knowledge of key government contracting elements and DoD acquisition processes such as SOWs, CDRLs and source selection.Clearance Requirements: Active Secret with the ability to obtain TS/SCIPhysical Requirements: Sedentary work
