We are currently seeking a motivated Systems Engineer/Analyst to join our team in Dahlgren, VA. This is an On-Site position.Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Operating Training Systems and conducting Underwater tactical and training operations at the land-based test site, with a particular emphasis on assessing training configurations and associated AWS and non-AWS interfaces, especially focusing on Training Systems Providing support for shipboard and land-based test events Acting as a training engineer with a robust background in fleet training as well as stand-alone single ship training Focusing primarily on AEGIS Training Configurations while also supporting other sub modes and mission areas during tactical and training operations Understanding Combat Information Center (CIC) operations and articulating system capabilities and limitations based on fleet operations, conducting system performance assessments. Supporting the analysis of data, Computer Program Change Requests (CPCRs), and Trouble Observation Reports (TORs) and delivering written and verbal technical evaluations of capabilities and limitations Assisting in element and system-level testing at land-based sites and ships Working independently with minimal oversight and thriving in dynamic, fast-paced team environments Attending various review and status meetings and supporting software testing events both on land and shipboard Demonstrating proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat Adhering to standard business work hours, with exceptions for travel-related tasksMinimum Qualifications: 4 years of related experience in AEGIS fleet operations and/or AEGIS T&E Proficiency and experience in AEGIS Combat Training System (ACTS), Battle Force Tactical Training (BFTT) and Advanced Training Domain (ATD) and overall AEGIS Weapon Combat operations Traveling within the continental United States (CONUS) and occasionally to ports located outside of continental United States (OCONUS)Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field Understanding of Combat Information Center (CIC) operations Knowledge of shipboard operations and procedures Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Motivated self-starterClearance Requirements: Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance prior to starting this position.Physical Requirements: Ability to remain stationary for 50% of the time. Occasional movement within the office for communication and accessing resources.
