Drafter

Overview:

We are currently hiring Drafters/Designers for a new program our client has won in Hampton, VA.

Description:

Working in partnership with engineering technicians to update drawings and information related to marine vessels.

Making changes to drawings, updating information and drawings.

Inputting data.

Data transfer to consolidate into acceptable government format.

Qualifications:

AutoCAD experience.

2-3 years of experience.

Preference is towards prior marine vessel/ship/submarine experience.

Open to all disciplines: mechanical, electrical, structural, piping, etc..

Need to be eligible for a clearance.

Additional Information:

While preference is towards marine experience, open to all industries: manufacturing, civil, construction, etc..

If interested in more hands on work, also hiring engineering technicians/shipcheckers for the same program that will be traveling.
