Description and Requirements

We are hiring a Spring 2025 Intern to join our Marketing & Communications team as a Customer Engagement Intern. The intern will assist in the planning and execution of all aspects/details of business-to-business events, meetings and briefings produced by Lenovo’s Infrastructure Solutions Group. You will also support event marketing, agency and budget adherence and customer experience. This is a hybrid role based in Morrisville, NC. The target start date will be January 2025.

Responsibilities:

Ensure a compelling and distinct ISG brand experience at industry events or in the Executive Briefing Center (EBC).

Work with agency partners and the scope of work in support of Lenovo at events.

Use timelines to help develop strategy, planning, and checklists.

Team with Customer Engagement members to arrange speakers and/or SME participation.

Support event and briefing schedules.

Support multiple activities in a fast-paced environment with prescriptive attention to detail and deadlines.

Help support coordination of all activities to ensure a smooth experience.

Effectively collaborate with and provide information to multiple internal staff.

Help to capture and provide proof-of-execution for Lenovo and partner funded programs.

Develop a working knowledge of Lenovo’s Infrastructure Products and Solutions.

Basic Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Event Management, Hospitality or related field

Ability to work onsite in Morrisville, NC

Comfortable with Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, etc)

Preferred Qualifications:

Interest in Event Management

Organized

Can mange multiple projects at the same time
