Job Title: Controls Engineer
Job Description
This position is responsible for controls engineering project requirements involving control system design, control panel design, PLC programming, instrumentation, check out support, and start-up assistance. The individual will work on automation and control system integration projects for clients across multiple industries, including both manufacturing production lines and data center building automation. The role also involves acting as a technical lead on projects and guiding lower-level engineers and technicians.

This is a contract position with a duration of 12 Month(s).
Work Environment
The client site is located in Aurora, NC near New Bern. The work involves bulk chemical processes, including sulfuric acids in rail cars and a new process for making hydrofluoric acid. The site includes 10 processing plants and requires onboarding for 6 months. The work environment involves a large open-pit mine, processing 30 tons of material at 1700 degrees to turn it into phosphate. Necessary trainings include obtaining a TWIC card for port access and AMSHA training for mining.
