A leading electrical contractor specializing in commercial projects is seeking an experienced and dedicated Commercial Electrical Superintendent.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Commercial Electrical Superintendent to oversee and manage electrical projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in commercial electrical systems, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of electrical workers on commercial construction projects.

Ensure all electrical installations comply with local, state, and national codes and regulations.

Review project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and project requirements.

Schedule and manage daily work activities to ensure project timelines and milestones are met.

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality standards are maintained.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues or challenges.

Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project costs.

Enforce safety protocols and conduct safety meetings to ensure a safe working environment.

Train and mentor junior electricians and apprentices.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrical Superintendent or in a similar supervisory role.

Extensive knowledge of commercial electrical systems and construction practices.

Strong understanding of electrical codes and regulations.

Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

Proficient in project management software and tools.

Valid electrician’s license and relevant certifications.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
