We are seeking an experienced CNC machinist to be a part of a local manufacturing team! This is a full time, permanent position with full benefits and employee perks. 90% of your health insurance is company paid! The ideal candidate has 2-5 years of experience programming a CNC lathe from scratch. You will need to be able to read blueprints and complete light troubleshooting on your machine. Responsibilities

Creation and optimization of CNC programs on the CNC machine through use of G-code programming

Set up and operate CNC machines to produce high quality parts in single piece and series production

Selection of tools and fixtures to meet the requirements of the new production line

Proven knowledge and skills in operating and programming CNC Machines

Monitor manufacturing processes and react as necessary to maintain proper operation

Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance

Provide input and ideas for process improvement and optimization

Maintain accurate records of production data, such as part counts and cycle times

Identify and troubleshoot problems that arise during the manufacturing process to ensure high quality production

Creation of machining processes for lathes with live tooling

Providing technical knowledge to support the acquisition of new machines

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

wearing steel toe shoes

manual lifting up to 40lbs

standing for 6 hours at one time
