Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking Manufacturing Operations supervisor with hands-on experience in a welding, fabrication, or machining environment.
Within this role, you will:
Drive the long-range strategic planning process for operations by overseeing and managing all manufacturing operations.
Translate customer requirements into state-of-the-art manufacturing strategies and processes, resulting in cost-effective processing.
Develop operations-related plans, budgets, and policies and procedures.
Maintain safety and regulatory compliance relating to the production facility.
Select, develop, and evaluate personnel.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
Able to lead teams of skilled trades persons from diverse backgrounds in a dynamic, manufacturing shop environment.
Capable of balancing multiple priorities without sacrificing quality.
Good analytical and problem solving skills. Follow through with problem solving.
MS Office software capabilities.
Maintain labor accounting and reconcile time cards of reporting employees.
Able to assess current machining centers and work with Engineering for streamlined processes.
Able to document and counsel employees as required per policy, i.e.; attendance, performance.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Machining and Fabrication experience from the standpoint to help resolve manufacturing issues.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $58300 – $99100
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
