Your role at Clorox:

As a Senior SME on the R&D Data and Digital Capabilities (DDC) team, your role involves leading enhancements and providing business support for Cloroxs R&D systems, with a focus on Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Project Portfolio Management (PPM) applications. You will drive continuous improvement across these platforms, develop advanced reports and dashboards, automate business reviews and product data checks. Additionally, you will be assisting with new system implementation and adoption, leading new business processes development and business process changes as related to R&D systems. Oversee critical aspects of business operations and technology integration, ensuring that both business and technology effectively work together to support the Clorox enterprise goals.

In this role, you will:

Lead the current PLMproduction system changes by developing new requirements and enhancements, and by participating in system functional, integration, and data model design and configurations.

Support PLM system users in their daily work, troubleshoot system functional and integration issues. Validate defect fixes for production deployment.

Lead cross-functional discussions to scope PLM work for Clorox R&D/Supply Chain (SC) projectsacross multiple Clorox Business Units. Lead R&D and SC teams to ensure optimal, quality, and timely PLM setup. Conduct and resolve Manufacturing BOM (MBOM) exceptions.

Develop training material and train users on a variety of systems and corresponding business processes, to include the mentoring of R&D DDC members and partners on systems, processes, and technologies.

Assist in designing new systems, including business requirements, data modeling, and integration strategies. Ensure that the system is adopted successfully by users. Lead the efforts in data migration.

Lead new business processes development and business process changes as related to PLM, Compliance, and PPM systems. Oversee critical aspects of business operations and technology integration, ensuring that both business and technology effectively work together to support the Clorox enterprise goals.

Design, develop, and maintain business and product data reports, metrics, and dashboardsfor a variety of systems.

Develop automated product data quality checks and system user access reviews.

What we look for:

Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in a data management, data science, computer, business or science-related field

7 years of experience with a focus on product data management capabilities, processes, systems and governance ; experience in Consumer Product Goods (CPG) industry is strongly desired

Advanced scripting and automation design & development experience (such as PowerBI, Alteryx, SQL, MS Azure, Python/R, or similar tools)  with the ability to identify and champion new tools, processes, and technologies 

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively work in a collaborative environment with technical and business teams 

Demonstrated project planning and project management skills

Ability to work independently and execute multiple projects efficiently within set deadlines 

High level understanding of new product/package development process is strongly desired

Working knowledge of PLM and PPM systemsis strongly desired

Workplace type:

Hybrid: This individual will work 3 days a week in one of the following offices: Pleasanton, CA; Alpharetta, GA or Durham, NC. The selected individual will be able to work remotely the other 2 days.

Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

–Zone A: $104,100 – $199,100

–Zone B: $95,500 – $183,300

–Zone C: $86,800 – $166,600

This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
