We are searching for a Records Specialist in Norcorss, GA. The duties of the records clerk is to provide maintenance of data, records, and files necessary to provide servicing to the assigned client team or department. This position will perform duties as a specialist relating to the implementation, and management of all aspects of document control and records management throughout the information lifecycle for physical or electronic records. Bonus: $500 Project Completion bonuses every 4 months for meeting box targets, based on team performance. Project Breakdown: • Closing a warehouse with approximately 80,000 boxes; 2/3 to be destroyed, 1/3 for off-site storage or scanning. • Project duration: up to one year. • Tasks include pre-review, file handling, information verification, and correction, with a focus on detail and organization. • QA and barcoding tasks involved; IRM software experience is a plus. • Job duties will need Candidates that are detail-oriented, organized, and cautious. Top 5 Required Skills: • Attention to detail/Organized • Good Attendance • 6 months (Accumulative) of Filing Experience • Flexibility to train and become certified in forklift operations

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Records Room.

• Participate with other records and information staff in overseeing effective maintenance of records management systems including Interwoven File Creation, RFID File Tagging and Programming, File Retrieval, and Re-Shelving.

• Database Management and Maintenance to ensure records are accurately documented and stored.

• Troubleshooting to identify potential problems or to recommend better processes or methods to accomplish work in the specified timelines provided by the client.

• Assure adherence to corporate policies and strategies using the current records management systems.

• Ensures compliance with business protocol, regulatory and best records management practices requirements.

• Maintain ongoing communications with all departments regarding maintenance, creation, revising, reviewing, and retrieval and archiving of records.

• Generate record management reports.

• Assist with orientating and training others on the appropriate records management processes and procedures as required by the client.

• Perform photocopying, faxing, scanning, and other duties as assigned.

The essential functions of this role include:
