Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technologist IIJob Description
As a Medical Laboratory Technologist II, Technical Specialist, you will ensure a strong GMP environment within a very dynamic and changing manufacturing/quality environment. Achieve compliance-ready state of each laboratory area. Serve as the main point of contact for Laboratory Services. This includes but is not limited to the coordination of training, new and incumbent employees on equipment, documentation, product control, product handling, storage, serological duties, chemistries, and any other task associated with making sure the products reach the customers. Assist with the review and approval of test data, preparing validation documents, writing, reviewing, and creating SOPs and OJTs, and overseeing and assisting with special projects.
Hard Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology, Life Sciences, or other science or technical field
1-3 years of professional experience working in a blood bank environment
MT(ASCP) or equivalent (preferred)
1 years of experience in a highly Regulated/GMP environment
Technical writing for SOPs, OJTs, and documentation of training metrics
Understanding of FDA and ISO standards applicable to the department
Soft Skills
Ability to maintain a polite, helpful, and professional manner with employees
Coordination and training skills
Competency in creating legible, complete, and accurate records
Support and implementation of metrics
Participation in the SOP review and revision process
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Norcross, Georgia.
Work Environment
M-F Evening Shift schedule: 1:00pm to 9:30pm
